Dear all,
We received various .dwg drawings of a 3D model of a process plant which were created in INOVx. However the drawings have no intelligence whatsoever, everything is labelled as a block reference.
Isn't there a way to export from INOVx but maintain the intelligence and hierarchy in the dwg file?
Thanks in advance

Re: Intelligent Export to AutoCAD
There is no way to export from InovX into AutoCAD and keep the intelligence or heirachy.
I had some models created for me recently in InovX and they were also blocks. To get the solid objects that I needed the model had to be exported to microstation and then saved out as a dwg file from there.
Unfortunately InovX does not seem to live up to its claims very well when exporting to other software. I think this will develope with time, but as far as I can see there is still no way to create an intelligent (plant) model and then open it in other software properly.

If you don't see that there is nothing, then you are kidding yourself.
