Can someone tell me if i can set the appearance i.e. the colour of generic assets such as cylinders and boxes? I tried doing it the way you do it for normal assets such as pipes, equipment etc but there's no colour option in the properties.
Thanx in advance

Re: Colouring genering assets
Another thing i was wondering which relates to the aforementioned issue is whether there is a way to convert already created primitive assets like a cylinder into specific assets e.g. cylinder into pipe straight.
Thanx again

Re: Colouring genering assets
You cannot change the color (appearance) of individual primitives (cylinder, box etc.). The parent object of the primitive can be changed appearance (but all primitive children) will inherit this appearance.
As far as changing a Generic Asset (with Cylinder) into a Pipe Straight or Generic Asset (with cone) to Reducer etc. is not possible right now. This has mainly to do with hierarchy; Pipe Straight must be a child of Piping Segment. Is there a particular reason you created a Generic Asset instead of a Pipe Straight?

Re: Colouring genering assets
Thanks very much for the help, the reason i was wondering was that I couldn't place a pipe where I wanted to because the cloud wasn't as complete as it should at that point so i created a cylinder and then placed it where I wanted as I assumed I would be able to change its properties later..
