Does anyone know if it's possible to export manipulated point clouds (regions specifically) from RealityLINx? I've loaded several scans then broke them into regions and would like to export each region separately.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Exporting from RealityLINx
Not sure what you are trying to do, what do you want to export into ? Do you want to export the region's bounding box to CAD (Microstation, AutoCAD) ? The regions combine all scans into a single file based on the bounding box extents you specified when you created the regions. Up to RealityLINx 5.3 this is stored into a proprietary format .rpc.
RealityLINx 5.4 however now utilizes Leica Geosystems point cloud engine (pcE):

In RealityLINx 5.4, regions are written to pcE compatible format .pci.

Thanks for the follow-up, the .rpc is what I was looking to extract in another format... looks 5.4 takes care of it!mstook wrote:Up to RealityLINx 5.3 this is stored into a proprietary format .rpc.
