Hi all,
Spatial factory, Topcon's Software for the IP-S2, is able to export imagery from it's mobile scanner.
Does anyone know of any methodology for converting this imagery into something similar to Leica's Truview?
Also, what is the best way to ground truth the floating gps data?
Thank you,
Please feel free to ask me more specific questions if mine are too broad,
Andonis

Re: Spatial Factory Imagery
Hello!
I can answer Your second question.
One way is to make 'eights' sometimes - cross Your own trajectory to adjust heights.
Also there's a possibility to survey some well-recognized points with total stations etc. and then match it on the scan to adjust plane coordinates and heights.
Cheers.

I missed this question coming in.
1) Give the guys at Positioning Partners a shout, they will be able to sort you out.
2) For the imagery, and what you would like to do with it, you'll be best to put it into our Orbit Publishing environment.
3) Ground truthing Float GPS data - As suggested, running self-registration on intersecting or near overlapping trajectories will help. But can you expand on this point? I'm guessing you looking at control point matching with this question?

Andy
