Worlwide 3D scanning consortium

Post by Damien3D »

Hi all,

do you know of any organization that would gather 3D scanning services providers around the globe?

I'm thinking of a group of like-minded scanning professionals with high-quality standards that would work together on global survey projects...

Does something like this already exist? If not, would you find it relevant?

Let me know what you think and if you'd be interested.

Cheers

Damien

Hi Steven, I know about the locator page which I find is a great tool.
I'm really talking about a consortium or alliance (of people or companies in the locator for example) with business agreements, shared economical interests, and non-compete agreements based on geographical location or else.
Something along the lines of airline alliances or franchised businesses...
I'm not sure what this could actually look like but I believe it might be worth looking into it.

What do you think? Has it been done in the past? Does it already exist? Could this actually work?
