Where to order checkerboard targets?
Where can I find or order numbered checkerboard targets? We are currently using some checkerboard targets we get from go3dusa.com, but they are not numbered. I would like to order some with progressive numbers on them. Can anyone help?

Re: Where to order checkerboard targets?
I use target mill too. Completely customizable which is great.
I have also had a few targets printed on hard plastic and aluminum at the FedEx store for nailing to trees etc where there are no flat surfaces to attach paper targets. I also printed some paper targets on sticky back papers I bought on line. Some of my targets are letter size and some tabloid size for longer range. Always use a laser printer as ink jet ink is not suited for Laser targets.

Re: Where to order checkerboard targets?
Hey all!
I downloaded this word doc to check it out and notice that the color is set to a grey insted of a true black. I am assuing that the grey has less reflectance than true black?
Anyhow, I have made my own targets for testing and was wondering if anyone new the color table number of the grey that works the best?
Thanks!!

The density of the gray (or black) part of the checkerboards depends on the printer that you use and how reflective is the toner. I use a printer where pure black works best. The reason that black does not work in some cases, is that the back part of the checkerboard has to have some reflectivity.

Re: Where to order checkerboard targets?
Thanks for all of the replies! I guess I should have been more specific; I am looking for numbered checkerboard targets that are stickers. We have printed out checkerboards, but we need something more permanent. I work for an engineering firm and most of the scanning we do is in chemical plants and refineries. We use the checkerboard targets to assign coordinates to the scans. I need the checkerboards to stay in place for a while in case I have to come back and do some more scans in an area we've previously scanned, that's why we use the checkerboard target stickers. The company we were getting the stickers from can no longer get them, so I'm trying to find someone else to get them from. I may just have to get a printing company to make some.

I ordered blank letter size and 11x17" laser printable label sheets in both light sticky and permanent sticky peel and sticky backs then I use the program to print numbered checkered targets. The permanent stickers are perminate!
I ordered blank stock here https://m.uline.com/h5/r/www.uline.com/ ... earch=true

Thanks! Are these labels like vinyl or paper? Are they messed up if they get wet?LPaulCook wrote:I ordered blank letter size and 11x17" laser printable label sheets in both light sticky and permanent sticky peel and sticky backs then I use the program to print numbered checkered targets.
