Hello Matt
Thanks for the warm welcome
I was wondering what would the right section be to post about the issues i am having with the scanner
The arm as i mentioned before is a cimcore/romer arm Stinger II (6axis model 4018).
WinRDS 5.3.4 (cant get a newer one due to the calibration)
scanworks 5.30 version
WInsen recognizes the sensor. powers it up in the advanced test options
I believe the issue i am having is the connection. I dont have the 2in1 cable (trigger/sensor) and i am using 2 separate cables (like in the 1000 or the 3000 series arm) female to female rs-232 and the perceptron cable
In calibration in scanworks i get the green semisphere as shown in the software but it only works for a few seconds and i cant get it to be in the assigned frame.
This is on a personal/amateur level

Hi Costas,
You could post in the under the hand held scanners section or other hardware.
