Hello Everyone,
Since I installaled the last firware of the BLK360 (1.1.6), I had a new problem when taking photo.
It seems that the panoramic photo does not cover all the scanned data (the lower part), so this part is textured in black.
If I compare the point cloud in intensity color, and the one in color photo, I can see that problem (I voluntarily changed the background color into grey).
The problem is that on an assembly of several stations, it makes appear circular areas not very sexy.
Has anyone ever observed this problem?

I am seeing just the same problem ('Feature') here.
Currently working through different methods to try to fix it.

In which software are you processing the data? Are you collecting with/without an iPad?ZenithSAS wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 8:59 am Hello Everyone,

I guess you are using Cyclone 9.2.0. Cyclone trims the bottom part of image, and it causes points at this area don't get color. This behavior should have been changed in Cyclone 9.2.1.

Re: BLK 360 - Image black zone
I have thé same results in HDR and LDR, by importing the data into Cyclone 9.2.1 with or without using the ipad.
If I import a project Register 360, I also observe this, with in addition, a shift of the texture (another topic)

Re: BLK 360 - Image black zone
I get the same results regardless of registration workflow (Recap Mobile Pro, Cyclone Register 360). In my case, however, the points just look grayscale - not black. This occurs using LDR and HDR. I assumed Leica just goofed and poorly calibrated the cameras to the lidar output preventing a full colorization of each scan. Perhaps it is a firmware issue, but I wouldn't know as we've done all of our work with BLKs on whatever version came before 1.1.6 and after the original firmware release (1.0.0?).
