Hi from Brisbane QLD

Post by mike annear » Thu Apr 20, 2017 4:30 am

Hi all,
Well, after leaving Perth WA and a year of traveling / sailing my boat, I have now finally settled in Qld.

I am now based about 1.5 hours from Brisbane CBD if anyone here needs help with Scanning, point-cloud processing or 3D modelling.
I am very experienced using Leica, Faro and Riegl hardware in the field, and also using Cyclone, Faro Scene, and RiScan Pro in the office.

3D modelling work is my specialty, some of my past work can be seen here,

If you have staff heading off on holiday I am happy to fill in for a few weeks, or if you need training I am also happy to help.
I have also recently built a 3D printer if you need physical models made from you scan data.

Cheers,
Mike Annear.

Sounds awesome! I have to ask, do you 3D model from your boat?

Hi, I can, I have power onboard from solar panels and a wind turbine. The batteries also run electric winches, desalinator, toilet etc.
But I am no longer on the boat, I have moved into a house with a home office, decent broadband etc.
