Hi,
I wondered if anyone has a standard / widely accepted CAD symbol for a 'Scanner Location' and possibly all the different types of targets ie B&W, Cylinders, Spheres etc.
A block with attributes like Scan#, Scanner Make/Model, s/n, & user might be useful additional elements too.
Is there anything out there?

Some good ideas Jason.
I'm not aware of any personally.
Based on my experience of searching for images for putting into presentations, finding a generic, non vendor specific image of a laser scanner is pretty hard.

It would be good if Richard Dalton at LSS could set the standard, and add it in to the Legend for the new LSS Point Clouds software? [that's if it uses a Legend?]
