I was lucky enough to work with Leica P40 and Faro Focus 330 in my last company. The quality of the P40 scan data was phenomenal yet the Faro, not so much. Despite the advertised range of the Faro, we did no use any data over 30m away as it was deemed unreliable. I am now looking to go it alone on a new venture and want to buy a used scanner that is suitable for a wide range of applications so as not to limit myself.
Do you agree that the X330 has unreliable data beyond 30m?
What do you consider the maximum usable range of data for a lesser model, say X120?
