Post by Phil Marsh »

I am going to put together a list of 'Laser Scanning Terminology'

Any ideas what should be in the list? Please feel free to add to this list to see how big we can get it.

How about starting with the definitions in ASTM E2544?

It would be great if you could get a hold of waht we call " The Error Bible". All of the scanner manufacters have one, usually when you get an error, it´s a number code and in that "bible" there´s an explanation for what it may be. If we all could get a hold of that would be awesome.

I just came across this thread and was wondering if any sort of a list was ever created.
