Can't connect scanner to tablet any more

Post by Dedken »

It used to work....

Now when I try to link our TX5 and my Samsung Galaxy the message displayed in the Wi-fi networks list simply says "Ready to connect when network quality improves". I've not changed any settings on either device. Help!

Ken,
I am assuming you have tried with a different device?
Occasionally I see a scanner that is problematic to connect too.
Eventually they all connect.

Did you try to disable smart network switch?
Otherwise try to remove the SIM card.
The phones and tablets usually don't like to have a wifi connection with no internet connection, and look for a better alternative.
Some are really stubborn, and need great effort to talk them to a more adequate behaviour.
