James, walls in your model looks really not so straight;)

At this point I am wondering, what accuracy are you obliged to make in your revit projects? I mean deviations between point cloud and model?

Below is an image from a recent project for a building that is actually well suited to modelling in Revit!

this model was 15mm tolerance :) and due to it being used in Vico for costing etc, if it was wonky - it was modelled wonky ;)

Wow I am impressed by these models. What plugin software are you guys utilizing to create the Revit models from the point clouds? I am particularly intrigued by models with the complex walls and family's. Can any one shed some light onto how you create these?

With no plugins it is goos idea to creat families (doors, windnows) and simulataneously loading it into project with linked point cloud. Then there find appropriate values for each parameter and then write it in the family editor. This way is really efficient in my opinion.
