Just wanting to see how well this works. Looks like it could help speed things up a lot.

I can make one for you... good news though... lasercontrol all scout features built in as well... I usually just setup the laptop on site and let it do its thing rather than mess with a silly tablet (till I find a suitable tablet)

That would be awesome. I am more interested in hearing how well this works. This could potentially save so much post processing work.hypsometric wrote:I can make one for you... good news though... lasercontrol all scout features built in as well... Interested as well, participated in Z+F ' s webinar today and it looks promising. Would like to hear from others who have used it.

You must have missed my post:
Z+F 5010X SCOUT I-CAM T-CAM Attachment(s) on Sep 6, 2015
https://www.laserscanningforum.com/foru ... =51&t=9174
There was no video of the process, but I believe it will save a significant amount of time for those with the Z+F 5010X and DOT-Product hand scanners. We are in the process of upgrading both our 5010C scanners to 5010X so that we will have the ability to register the scans in the field and upload the DOT-Product scans into the 5010X and download the DOT-Product scans for registration as well.
As explained in the Sep 6, 2015 post, we are using DELL M6800 laptops with 32GB RAM and 7TB of SSD to colorize post process the HDR images and Thermal images while waiting for the scans to complete.
