Sorry if this has been addressed before, I can't seem to find anything on it.
When I Pre process a batch of scans, it finishes a with a pop up window that says.
"Error Occured. See log file for details. Error Code: 218"
I can not find the log file anywhere or anything online about this error code.
I can continue to work in the program and even pre process more scans... again getting the error.
any help or direction to where this has been discussed is greatly appreciated!

Re: Preprocessing error code 218
Scott,
I have come across many error codes in Scene. I will agree that it is very hard to figure out what is causing them and I have never seen a list of error codes any where. Something that might be causing your issue is maybe your computer is running out of memory? Another thing you can try is to see if the error is popping up while a certain scan is be loaded. This happens from time to time. If it is a single scan causing the problem then just delete that scan and import it back in from the Raw folder or directly from the SD card.
Hope this helps.

Re: Preprocessing error code 218
Hello Scott,
you will find the preprocess logfile within your scan project storage location (also mentioned in Preprocess section of the SCENE manual). You should find more details about the kind of error that occurred.
Best regards,
Joachim

Error Code 17 !
This is your Anti-Virus Software !
Turn you Anti-Virus software off or turn the shield off and you should find it working fine.
This was causing me to pull my hair out about a year ago

Re: Preprocessing error code 218
I'm having all sorts of problems with Scene 5.2 on both workstation and laptop.
Error code 17 is the most prominent. Never been a problem over the past years; now it's happening routinely and across multiple projects. I did just run a trial version of 6.2 which was awful, hence my reason for sticking with our licensed 5.2 software.
I guess I may be forced to upgrade once I lose Windows 7 anyway. But these errors....I don't get it.
