I just purchased a small, low-profile tripod to be able to mount the S70 scanner low to the floor.

For speed in the field, I'm looking for a second quick connect (male) piece that screws to the top of the Gitzo tripod's mounting screw. Does anyone know where I can buy that piece with the threaded adapter part?
FYI: I just installed and am successfully used the low profile ball head that allows quick scanner leveling without futzing around with the tripod's legs. It works quick and easy!

Obviously it's cheaper to get this half kit than the whole thing.
We got a couple of them for different tripods, and we sometimes use a mini tripod similar to the one in your post.
