So I was taught to go thru my scans individually in the planar view and make sure the spheres in scan 1 are the same in scan 2 (obviously if there in the same location. so that when I update and view them in the correspondence view they spheres will align according to their name, and they do at first then I turn them into fixed scans because that's what I was told and I can either save and/or save and get out of faro and the next day the spheres are labeled different. sometimes it messes with the position of my scans and sometimes it doesn't.
How do I get it to stop changing the names of my spheres?
thank you

Re: Spheres changing names after registration?
Hi there
The sphere properties help to control this.
Once a sphere is found you can look at its properties and under General tab you can select accordingly.
The top option allows for auto renaming of spheres when creating correspondences during your registration process.
You can select a different method for each sphere based upon how you wish to register.
