Questions about Riegl scanners .

Can anyone explain me why the Riegl scanners does not need to put on an tribrach adapters like Leica p40 ?
They does not need zero level in each set up ?
Riegl have dual compensator ?
Ι have shown a video and As I see they are very fast for outside measurements!

riegl vz400i has a very good imu to level scans (and to track position and orientation also)
