VMX-450 Image Timestamp Convention

Post by Ryan »

I'm working with a dataset captured by a VMX-450 mobile mapping system, and I assume post-processed by the Riegl software.

The image filenames are all of the form:
<6 digit number>_<9 digit number>_Camera_<N>.jpg

where <6 digit number> is the same for every image in the capture, and <9 digit number> increases variably with each image.

for example, an image captured in February 2015:
150210_181911603_Camera_1.jpg

I assume that one or both of these somehow represent the timestamp of the image, but I can't figure out the convention or units of it if so. It doesn't appear to be a GPS or adjusted GPS timestamp, etc.

Does anyone know this convention?

Thanks in advance,
-Ryan
