Save view equivalent from Leica to Trimble?

Post by Spwilka »

Hello,

Hoping someone can help me out with some confusion. I’m new to scanning and just switched from Leica cyclone to Trimble Realworks.
In cyclone, there is the ability to save a view within the pointcloud but I can’t find the equivalent in Trimble realworks. Is there a way to save a view via a vertex or camera?

Any help is appreciated!

If you go to the MEDIA tab at the top, you can capture screen, or capture screen (high res).

If that's what you mean by saving view?

It's more saving a point of view in the point cloud that I can maneuver to, such as a camera view.

In Leica there is an option to create a "camera" object and double click to see the view locked on that position in the point cloud.
I need the ability to view the scene from the point of view of a surveillance camera and have that exact position locked into place so I can fly off of it to do measurements but then return to that exact position.
In Cyclone it's creating a "camera" object or saving a view point. I can't find an equivalent in Realworks.
