I'm dying here. Can anyone tell me where to find the steelworks cataloges for Realworks? I have no clue where to find them.

Re: Realworks Steelworks cataloge
Hi RobM,
Here's your solution
Generic steelworks files are installed with the program...they simply need to be attached
From the Plant Tab...Click on the "Import Steelworks catalog" icon
Browse to Computer-> Program Files -> Trimble -> Trimble Realworks ->Tables -> Steelworks. You can then select the appropriate .spec file from either the AISC or DIN folder (both contain .spec files).
From there you can select the appropriate steel beam
If you have any other questions, please contact [email protected]
Thanks!

Re: Realworks Steelworks cataloge
I found this...good luck!
http://myemail.constantcontact.com/Trim ... 2swOoZZXHw
Trimble Laser Scanners at World of Concrete
"Modeling steel is very easy with the help of two catalogs of steel types and specifications. But Trimble RealWorks helps the process along by fitting the geometry to the point cloud. In the example we show how to segment out the point cloud, select the section type we’ll be modeling, and even copy that model so we won’t have to model every beam by hand."

Re: Realworks Steelworks cataloge
Thanks for the quick reply. I searched the manual but couldn't find anything.
Didn't know where to look for the catalogues. Thanks Josh!
On the other note. Anyone know if there is a possibility to export them into Revit? IFC export isn't available, any other formats that could keep them "intelligent" ?
