EFI shell is sort of a mini-operating system that would normally launch the main operating system on your computer/scanner. It looks like something is probably wrong with one of the internal device names. If you're brave you could likely plug in a USB keyboard and poke around yourself, but the first thing I would do is contact support. The fix might be simple or it might require hardware repairs depending on the root cause.

Have you got any USB devices plugged in? If so remove them and try again. It might be a bootable USB interfering with boot order.
