Re: New v 1.1.7 Firmware
Hello Steve,
I am running the BLK360 with 1.1.7 firmware and Register 360 1.4.0. and an Netgear ac1200 WiFi USB adapter. On a Windows 10 64 bit.
BLK360 Data Manager v1.4.2
Did a test to verify what would and what would not download with the new firmware into Register 360.
My scans did download when I selected them individually. (did not use button for all scans) The setting where Scan Density Medium , Image Set to LDR and Image EV:0
The Scan Density High would also import. (Any Scan done with HDR would not download)
Register 360 Crashed when importing any HDR scan setups. At 23% complete. Cyclone would Crash as well with HDR on.
I have to test to see if I can select more then one scan for import. (Ran out of time today)
On the Jobs I had with HDR turned on I exported form Recap to .E57 and loaded them in to Register and Cyclone.
I have stopped using HDR settings until I can get our IT guy to update Register360 to 1.4.1 and Cyclone to 9.2.1
BLK360 Data Manager v1.4.2 worked fine but I can't Load the data in to Register 360 1.4.0 or Cyclone 9.2.0, Per there release notes the .blk format is not supported. I would have to update those softwares to test them.
If you need some help troubleshooting your setup PM me.

Re: New v 1.1.7 Firmware
USing the new firmware and a demo copy of cyclone. I'm pretty sure I saw more functionality exposed on the BLK360. Setting a delay for the pushbutton scans.
Does anyone have a BLK360 and Cyclone that can check this for me? It IS NOT EXPOSED in the $2k + yearly subscription we are paying for from Leica.
They are really starting to piss me off. If this is not intentional, then they need to get their act together and synchronize all their products that interface with this device. Wish I would have taken a screen clip of that when the license was valid.
On the Cyclone v9.2.1 import from BLK, the interface looks like the same (almost) as the BLK360 Data manager and the same GUI that pops up when you import to Register 360...but it has a setting for setting a delay of seconds after a push-button scan. That is what I'm looking for.

James,
I am completely Frustrated now. Still no successful download of BLK360 files over WiFi using my ASUS AC450 Mini Nano adapter in a USB3 port
Our County IT gave up today after repeatedly widdling down Windows defender on the subjuect workstation a Del Precision tower 5810 Windows 10 64bit machine with a K4200 Nvidia Graphics card.
I even tried disconnecting the entire ethernet cable and running the BLK360 Data Manager and also trying to download into Register 360 (After connecting the ethernet so the software could grab a license to open up.
Not sure where to turn now- if any Leica system gurus for the BLK are on here or anyone else has a clue- give me your two cents. I have put dozens of hours into this issue since February. I am wondering whether it is just this adapter.
It works fine on a disconnected Laptop with integrated Wifi. Below are some screen captures of the action
Video of an error and the ensuing attempt to reconnect and download

Re: New v 1.1.7 Firmware
We download BLK native files using the BLK Data Manager and do not have a license of Cyclone Register 360. I had all kinds of trouble at first but found that running the data manager as admin (via right click) sorted that out. So you might give it a try.
My colleague continues to have troubles but only in hotels and we think that is because the hotels are blocking the wifi.

Re: New v 1.1.7 Firmware
I asked about this when the new Leica software released three weeks ago. No new firmware is in the pipeline for the BLK as far as we know. Using the existing firmware you can now view the IR data coming off the BLK in the software.

Re: New v 1.1.7 Firmware
There is a BLK firmware version 1.2.0 now available to download from myworld thatis dated 15/10/18, happened to spot it when downloading Cyclone. Can’t see any release notes though so not sure what it is for, any ideas?

Re: New v 1.1.7 Firmware
After having serious issues with the firmware updates on the BLK360, I waited this time to update to 1.2.0.
As I looked today in myworld, the firmware update 1.2.0 is not available on myworld anymore, neither on the BLK360 website.
Has anyone experienced trouble with the new firmware?
