I have been using 360 for about a week now and have found it fairly easy to use (as a newcomer to registration). Now, I have a project where I am registering cloud to cloud. I have imported the scans and 360 has created many links to scans to form 5 bundles. I have linked all but one bundle and I cannot create a link to the final bundle. 360 does not suggest any links and I cannot finish the project to go to finalisation. There doesn't appear to be any facility to manually align cloud to cloud unless there is a suggested link available.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Leica Cyclone 360
Ahhh, you must mean Cyclone REGISTER 360
You should see suggested links. If you don't for any reason, select 2 set-ups you wish to join and use one of the alternative methods such as visual-alignment, target, auto-align, split-view to create your constraints
Then, you should see other suggested links, after you've created your new initial link (it will try to do this automatically).
There is a nice video in the assistant panel in the Review and Optimization panel called "Joining bundles" - it guides you through this process.
I hope this helps.

Re: Leica Cyclone 360
I'm not sure the video helps with the original problem as the registration methods only seem to work if 360 creates a suggested link.
I am in a similar situation where i have approx 60 scans in a building & for one or two of the setups 360 will not create a suggested link.
I know the scans can see each other as they are in the same room and only a couple of metres from each other.
Is there a way to select two scans & force 360 to create a link between the two setups then you can progress to another method of registration.
I'm sure there must be an obvious way but I'm just missing it at the moment.

Re: Leica Cyclone 360
Draw a fence around the 2 scans you want to connect and then at the bottom there are options of how to connect (1 is the visual alignment)

Re: Leica Cyclone 360
Thanks for that , it works like a charm.
I was trying to select two scans in the explorer & looking for an option there to create an alignment.
Cheers

Hi Guys
Apologies for not responding and thanking for the advice a while back. Yes, fencing the 2 scans was bang on what I was looking for - just took me a while to find it!!

Re: Leica Cyclone 360
Next version will allow multiple selection of scans in the site-map, so no need to draw a fence anymore... which is nice!
