So imported survey control and registered fine. But then I add to rotate/translate my survey points. When I delete the old reference, and import the new "translated/rotated" control, Scene wants to hold the old values. It actually changes the coordinates of the points in the reference folder.
I saw the post on Scene 7.0 doing this, but this issue seems different. We call our surveyed spheres S1, S2, etc... Scene wants to hold the original value imported for S1 even after deleting the Scan Manager and reimporting new control. Stumped...

hey Dan. Do you have a top level Transformation that is altering the references? I find that the manner in which Scene deals with control files is very clunky and unpredictable, so wrestling with it can be very frustrating.

PS. Why are you on Scene 5.2 anyway??

Re: Scene not holding Survey Control (5.2)
Finally fixed it.
R click Workspace --> Operations --> Correspondences --> Delete all Correspondences
Scott - we tried 6.2 and it was such a PITA that we were scared off of upgrading. I did like certain things, the split view for one. And the other part of not upgrading is based on comfort level with 5.2 and success so far. We will likely end up upgrading by end of year.
