Hi all!
I have a problem importing scan from ZF5010 (ZFS) into Cyclone... I loose some color informations.
When I open my scan on ZF control, I can see targets, but when I open it on Cyclone (v.8 here), it looses everything and I can see only blue.
Scan with 5010 were made without pictures (I have no ZFI).
I join 2 pictures to illustrate. (We can see, on the 2nd picture, that I can distinguish targets on the wall on the background, things that I can't do on Cyclone.
Is there any option, or process I must do before importing ZFS into Cyclone so it keep those informations?
Thanks for all!

You could change the colour of the data in Cyclone to greyscale.
It's strange the things you get used to. I can see the targets better in the intensity mapped version than in the black and white version.

Hi! Thanks for your answer!
when I change into Greyscale, the blue part become Grey, but there is no difference in being able to see the thargets. They just disappeared...

There's a nice clean target in the foreground but are you talking about the row of targets further back? Why would you ever have targets in a row?
If they actually are targets then all I can think of is play with import settings. Before importing scans into a project go to the "Edit" pulldown menu in Navigator, select Phase Based Scanner Filter Settings, make sure you have "HDS7000" selected and set the filters to suit. Then import your scan and see if it makes a difference.

I didn't see that row of targets first time around... I guess I would ask the same question, why?
There are some options in Cyclone to change the intensity ramp - playing with these settings should adjust the contrast and make them appear.

Re: Import ZF5010scan into Cyclone
In fact, it's a test we made after having the same trouble in other project.
It seems that there is another problem : intensity extrema are automatically filtred; so my coworkers think more than modifying the intensity, some points are removed due to an intensity that is too low/High. Is it possible?
I'll try to change the intensity ramp; hope this will help :/
P.S : "are you talking about the row of targets further back" The problem is that they are not further back, but as far as the one that is well visible.

Re: Import ZF5010scan into Cyclone
Good day KirbX,
Did you ever manage to sort out this issue?
I never had problems with this in the past, it just recently started and I have been using Cyclone 8 with our ZF5010 for the last couple of years. When I open the scan in Laser Control or Recap I can see a nice clear scan with good intensity range. Viewing it in Cyclone, intensities are poor and data missing as per your post.................
Hoping you can assist please!
