Wind turbine, Electric pylon, Telecom towers

Post by iSCAN »

Hi all,

a client asks me to digitize Wind turbine, Electric pylon, and Telecom towers.
Anyone is doing that kind of business? What kind of scanner would you use for that?
X330, C10, Riegl, Maptek, other?
What about the wind ? Any trick other then wait for THE perfect day without wind?
I'd appreciate to hear your thoughts on those kind of infrastructure.
I'd also appreciate if some of you accept to share some pointclouds.
Thanks & have a nice weekend !
