GEO Business, geospatial exhibition and conference, has announced that registration is now open! With more exhibition space than ever before, GEO Business 2019 is on track to be another record breaking event. An unprecedented number of exhibitors rebooked their stands and new exhibitors are still jumping at the chance to be a part of what is shaping up to be the most successful GEO Business event to date. In addition to the main exhibition, there are also opportunities for exhibitors within the various dedicated industry zones including Drone, Start Up, Education and new for 2019 the Marine Zone. The event will return to the Business Design Centre, in London, UK from 21-22 May 2019.

Last year GEO Business welcomed over 2,600 attendees (a 17% increase on 2017’s event) from 53 countries and included geomatics and geospatial professionals from around the world. This year’s event sees the exhibition hall opening up further to offer more space than ever before including (but not limited to) Ordnance Survey, Carlson Software, GeoSLAM, Murphy Surveys, ATMOS, KOREC, RIEGL, Mapix Technologies, CHC Navigation, Trimble, Teledyne Optic, Leica Geosystems, Opti-cal Survey Equipment, Laser Technology, Topcon, Sokkia, and many, many more.

With geospatial technology impacting more and more industries, GEO Business is attracting visitors from a wider range of industry sectors than ever before. Show Director Caroline Hobden commented, “GEO Business has made massive strides in recent years, ensuring it fully serves this buoyant and burgeoning industry. The 2019 event is on target to break more records yet again due to its huge offering of cutting edge content and networking opportunities.”

2019 will see the return of the highly successful free to attend seminar programme designed to demonstrate the remarkable impact geospatial technologies and solutions are having on our global environment. The programme will feature case studies from companies demonstrating how they are reducing costs and risk, whilst increasing productivity. The latest in augmented reality/virtual reality, BIM, earth observation & satellite, GIS & big data, laser scanning & LiDAR, mobile mapping, remote sensing, surveying, UAVs, and visualisation will feature within the fields of architecture, engineering & construction, asset management, coastal/inshore, education, environmental, equipment theft, floods, heritage, highways, instrumentation & monitoring, insurance, mining, mobility, railways, robotics & automation, security/forensics, smart cities, tunnelling, and utilities. The programme is developed via a call for abstracts (deadline 21 January 2019) and the organisers encourage applications from all members of the community and from all corners of the world. For more information and to submit an abstract visit www.GeoBusinessShow.com

The exhibition and seminar programme will run alongside a strategic senior level conference of invited speakers highlighting how geospatial is at the heart of the UK’s government policy supporting future economic growth. And to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to keep abreast of these critical developments, the organisers are pleased to announce that for the first time the conference will be FREE to attend.

Visitors will also have the unique opportunity to attend the well-established commercial workshop programme hosted by exhibitors demonstrating their latest products and services and a full line up of innovative social activities designed for informal networking with colleagues old and new.

The exhibition, workshops seminars and conference are all free to attend. All visitors are encouraged to register online in advance to beat the queues onsite at www.GeoBusinessShow.com/register

I'll be on a stand demoing SCC for the two days and may even be around for a few beers in the evening ;) Always a busy event for us and I'd be delighted to meet up with anyone who is attending.

Probably coming – especially hoping to network with other surveyors with all kinds of technologies. We are still waiting for our budget to be confirmed, but I hear whispers in our office that we are going to register.
