What You’ll Do:

As the Project Manager, you will assist and help manage the project from start to finish to ensure it meets the project scope, budget, and schedule.

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

• Reviews, organizes, and provides clarity to the project plans and flow to ensure it is in line with the scope of the project sold, the budget, and the schedule.
• Reviews job specifications and assists in the project quoting with clients.
• Reviews the final approved Project Scope with the customer to ensure clear expectations on the process, dates, and delivery.
• Leads a project team and reviews the overall scope, budgeted hours, and deadlines to ensure the team un-derstands and can meet the expectations.
• Handles complex issues related to the project scope, timelines and budget to ensure all customer and business goals are achieved.
• Assists with the Project Kick Off and participates in the project at the client site or remotely to ensure goals are achieved.
• Review’s safety protocol with the team prior to the start of all projects to ensure everyone is following best practices each and every day.
• Reviews and participates in the scanning process and data downloads to ensure the project scope is being fol-lowed and data is being accurately stored.
• Participates and oversees in the assembly of the data mapping to create a high-level 360 virtual layout and digi-tal twin copy, including client information and branding.
• Mentors’ others to help build the competencies of the team.

Position Requirements:

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Geographic Information System (GIS), Construction Management, Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), or similar field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience: 3 years of surveying skills preferred, with some project management experience and mentoring skills required. Familiarity with Reality Capture, LIDAR and BIM is important.
• Certification(s): Project Management Certification would be a plus.
• Functional Skills: Excellent project, process, and time management skills; ability to multi-task and able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness on the job with excellent follow through to ensure successful projects every time. Ability to think conceptually to manipulate the software da-ta to meet the project scope; excellent resource management, P&L accountability, and strong busi-ness/problem-solving skills to manage projects to the goals.
• Technology Aptitude/Skills: Excellent Microsoft, Ghantt Charts, and software skills, preferably using Linux and virtual servers on Amazon, along with AWS cloud services and API (Application Program Interfaces); will pro-vide a lot of training on the current processes and software used.
• Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present well and collaborate with clients.
• Leadership/Behaviors: Customer focused; professional, positive demeanor, polite and kind; can mentor, lis-ten, influence others, and respond on solutions to meet project goals; steady yet assertive to move projects forward; innovative with excellent collaboration skills to create enhancements; can work independently and with teams at the client sites and business locations; uses logic to make sound and timely decisions and judg-ments; high attention to quality and safety.

Other Important Information:

Pay/Salary: Pay is commensurate with proven expertise.

• The compensation will grow as the team member grows!
• Bonuses and profit-sharing plans as well!

Reports To: Sr. Project Manager
Core Hours: 8am – 5pm (schedule can be flexible; will work approx. 8 – 9 hours within this timeframe)
Typical Work Week: M-F; occasional weekend work; 45 hours a week on average
Direct Reports: 4
Travel: Approximately 25-50% to client locations
