We are growing our team again, and looking to add folks with scanning experience. 1/2 field 1/2 office workload. Our work consists of scanning, registration, 360 photography and also construction layout (which is tied to our scanning work).
The difference between working for WeWork and most other scanning employers is we are vertically integrated (wework builds/owns/operates buildings), so we have total control over the process of reality capture. So many times when I had my own scanning firm, we were asked to scan at awkward times during a project, and often saw our detailed scans reduced to 2D CAD or many times not even used. This is not the case at WeWork and we have full buy-in from our 300 person design team and management. A lot of people say they scan all their projects, but we are actually doing it. Heck, during one of our last fund-rasing rounds investors were shown 3D scans and explained how they de-risk our real-estate deals - so the company believes in scanning.

And if your into that kind of thing, we also do a kickass party called summer camp once a year, where they fly the entire company to a location for a long weekend. This year it is in London - https://vimeo.com/157790343.
Happy to discuss details with anyone who may be interested. The job says NYC, but the location is flexible.
