Hello everyone,
I have been testing this viewer on our point cloud over the Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy and the result is really nice. You can have a look for yourself here:

Re: Potree 1.3 - web point cloud viewer
I am trying see my data by using Potree.
I can't follow the steps:
Can some one go in details to get on this nice feature.
1:I have downloaded potree 1.3 from http://potree.org/wp/
2:I have pointcloud from Agisoft ( where/which folder should I save it)
I have followed the step
https://github.com/potree/potree/blob/m ... started.md
and installed XAMPP with some warnings. I can't start Apache (please see attached doc)
I can send log files also on request.
Now from this steps I don't know where to go.
Any help/doc/tutorial would be nice.

Where did you install WAMP?
Try a path outside reserved windows paths

Re: Potree 1.3 - web point cloud viewer
A common installation path is C:\xampp. Avoid C:\Program Files
Also, if you have skype running, quit skype first and then try to start apache.
Skype sometimes blocks the ports that apache wants to use.

Re: Potree 1.3 - web point cloud viewer
I 'm also interested in web-based viewing of the following products:
1: 3D model (*.ply/obj etc.)
2: Panorama produced by the scanner.
@ mschuetz I 'm also curious of finding the solution to visualize the panoramic-view (jpeg) on android system (mobiles). Is there any java script available for that.

Hello from @rapidlasso,
the new (and free) 'laspublish' from LAStools is based on Potree 1.4 and creates stand-alone Web Portals for interactive 3D viewing of LiDAR points and for selective downloading of LAZ or LAS files. It optimizes large LiDAR point clouds for streaming via the Web. Anyone can visualize, explore, and (optionally) download them with a standard modern browser (not IE ).
The new ‘laspublish‘ is now an integral part of the LAStools software and is bundled together with all necessary components of the Potree software. It provides an instant and cost-effective solution for generating a set of Web pages that realize a self-contained LiDAR portal offering interactive online visualization and exploration as well as easy and intuitive distribution of large LiDAR data sets via the optional download map.

Hello all,
if anyone has something regarding previous questions:
1: 3D model (*.ply/obj etc.)
2: Panorama produced by the scanner.
it would be great (I even consider to go for a licensed one)
Thanks!

Please go and have a look at our solution at Pointscene.com. Here's a few proof-of-concept scenes including point cloud data mashed with 3D OBJ's and the other one with panoramic images.
Point cloud + 3D OBJ:

Point cloud + panoramic images (please notice that the panoramas and the point cloud are totally from different sites...)
