Dear all,
have a strange behaviour in different projects with scene webshare.
Have measured distances between two clearly defined points.
In the local computer version of Webshare in Scene the distance is ok....same length than in the plain view...
but if I measure that via Internet in the dataset exported to our webserver....with absolutely the same points in the same view...the result is different...
Have done that in Scene 5.3 and 5.5....with different projects....always wrong results...wrong distances in the webserver are about 1 to 2% longer....
Anybody has seen this before ? Solution ?
Thank you.

Re: Scene Webshare Measurements
That's about the difference between us inch survey and inch international if you're not using metric.

Re: Scene Webshare Measurements
Cannot find a possibility to play with untits while exporting webshare data ??
....example attached....exactly same dataset on local station brings 7 cm difference on a distance of about 5.4 m...how can I tell customers "you can measure distances with an accuracy of perhaps 1 to 2 cm with webshare..."and then results with more than 7 cm difference
Anybody had the same problem ?

Re: Scene Webshare Measurements
Yes, i have seen this before. Not such big differences, but also reasonable enough. Also differences in the elevation. If you set a annotation, you can read out the Z value from the picked point. This Z Value has a difference from usually about 1-3cm if you comapre to Scene 5.5.3
