Hello again
I am in search of a pointcloud viewer that could limit navigation to predefined area .
The best would be that the navigation follows a 3D polyligne or something like that
Do you know software that could do it ?
The reason is to let the client visualize its pointcloud even if he has no capabilities in 3D.
It is not very easy to someone (that could be an important people) to navigate into a pointcloud to find some information so my idea would be to "prepare" its navigation to a known area of interest

May not work in your case, but how about creating an animation?
That gives you control to show specific areas, and also your client can pause and take-in a view for as long as he likes.

animation is great to show a specific area but client want to be able to see things ( that we don't always know in advance) and want to take measures ...

Re: pointcloud viewer with navigation constraints
Web view software will help a lot here.
Leica's Truview or Faro's Web Share are good examples of web viewing software.
Both will work in a web browser and allow the client to view the point cloud from each scan location.
You can typically make mark ups, add text, take measurements, add measurments and share all markups with other people on the project.
The major restriction is that you are restricted to the position that the scans were taken in. This isnt generally a problem though because if the client created a scope of work in advance of the scanning being done to convey their requirements the site work should have been carried out such that the scans are done close to all points of interest.

Re: pointcloud viewer with navigation constraints
If it HAS to be perfect. I.e. the client has very specific requirements, you could give them a tru-view - have them mark it up with areas of interest - then create your animation.
Long process - but that is the most complete solution - at least at the current time.
