Unfurl.exe
Does anyone have a small program called unfurl or unwrap that basically takes a pts file of a cylinder and unwraps the data into a flat plane. I had a copy of it but cannot find it now.
If you don't see that there is nothing, then you are kidding yourself.

Re: Unfurl.exe
I always run into a limit of around 4 million points. Does anyone know if the original BAS file for unfurl is around. I might be able to get our programmer to update the programming language to run on 64bit operating systems.

Re: Unfurl.exe
Scott I would contact Phill directly he wrote the original. If your programmer does up date it I hope he will return the favor and make it publicly available.

Scott
See attached program. It is very simple. If you programmer uses it to make a new version it would be polite to repost it. Unfortunatly unorb went missing in a computer crash back in 2009. If you want the bas for unorb I could rewrite it, let me know.
Cheers

Re: Unfurl.exe
I must admit that Phill's little program is very good for some projects. And having it chugging on a 64 bit system would be amazing.
Good luck guys and looking forward to seeing the results!

Good to see you back on the forum with your new company hope its's all going well.
Looks like I have a bit of learning to do with this program... Might give you a call if I get stuck
