Does anyone know if any of the mobile scanners and their respective software toolsets can output an e57 with waypoints that contain panoramic photo information that can be read by other software?
I have worked with BLK2GO, M6 and VLX and find that the e57 output does not seem to contain the panos in a way that is well supported if they are there at all.

Leica Pegasus backpack contains panoramic (i.e. spherical) photos with way points but no idea if this is supported through E57 output. Antonio Mendes would be the person to talk to on this, [email protected] You could also talk to the guys at NavVis to see if there is a way of doing it with the VLX, Georg Scroth posts here and would be worth contacting, https://www.linkedin.com/in/georgschroth/vertigo1 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 9:56 pm Does anyone know if any of the mobile scanners and their respective software toolsets can output an e57 with waypoints that contain panoramic photo information that can be read by other software?

I thought it was a shame that the BLK2Go doesn't support the pano export in this way, Leica missed a trick here in my opinion.

I am sure this is a tough discussion with brands that see interoperability as a profit loss scenario.
With my own entry into the industry the past few years, the clear growth pattern of laser scanning from my perspective is that common denominators among all systems will be in the driving seat.
