Faro Focus, how to measure point

Post by kyle.hod »

Hi Everybody,

Not sure if this has been asked before or not, but does any body have any information to allow me to measure the height of a faro focus from a survey station?

Thanks in advance.

Regards Kyle

Hi Kyle,

If you are using a survey tripod and the correct tribrach adapter then the height will be the same as a leica instrument/prism.

I cannot find the document at the moment, however Faro does have a document showing the dimensions.

The dimension you are looking for:

135.5mm from the base to the center of the mirror...finally got it memorized.

I bought one of these for a project last year. It worked really well with the 200mm spheres too.

You just need to make sure your tribrach is level
