Scan to BIM, generated by VisionLidar is the most complete Point Cloud software so far. It's now able to generate BIM from point clouds. From indoor and outdoor scans, all the relevant elements on a building can be automatically detected and classified with the AI object detection function. A complete IFC editor is integrated and allows to edit organize your data. Once the IFC elements are well organized, view your BIM in the viewer and proceed to the exportation. Export your data on Revit, ArchiCAD, VectorWorks, Navisworks, BIMx, Constructor, Allplan and all software that supports IFC files.

Looks like a pretty decent step forward in actual object automatic creation compared to lots of other things around.
I like the way the walls and windows are automatically created.
Unfortunately, the examples used in the video are nice large simple and open buildings. I would be keen to see if anyone has experience of using it on a more complex building.
Also, the LOD that is produced is very very low and realistically not likely to be of much value to most survey companies producing Revit models.
It may well suffice for assisting in context models and vastly improving deliverables for 3D topos.
