We are using a P40 with a trolley for indoor buildings scans and it's pretty very easy to move around,
the quality and the range from Leica scanners is far superior from others the only disadvantage i think is that is a little heavy but with the trolley problem solved.
As other member mention get a demo or rent it for a week first and then decide.

why is it that it's always leica users or reps who say that their product is superior?
i never hear other reps say the same thing about their gear.

Man... you need to follow some of the Faro reps on LinkedIn - it's full on assault over there... Gee Whiz!! :o

Note to others also: new FW updates coming very soon for the RTC360 which make it even more superior... ;)

Haha, linkedin is bombarded with the phrase #whenithastoberight ;-) Every leica cake that is given to a client is also posted there.

It always seems very difficult for Leica people to comment on a nice thing or feature that another vendor has got on this forum.

If this makes you happy, fine, i'll keep on scanning with my vz400i which i presume is the fastest scanner in the world for my projects and use my old tx5 for indoor stuff. My clients seem to be happy so i'll carry on ;)

EDIT : i didn't get a cake from Riegl but their support is top notch so i don't have to search for anwsers about software and updates on this forum for it. Happy to trade this in for a cake.
Sorry for my sarcasm.

The numbers speak for them self - there are a LOT of BLK360's in the world and a lot of customer success stories. Yes we'd like a cable... blah blah... but the data is actually pretty good. It will take on a new lease of life with the update of Cyclone FIELD 360 and direct wifi from the tablet to REG/REG360.
