C10 usb splitter...

Post by County Scanner »

Anyone know or have tried using a usb splitter for their C10? Since there's only one usb on the C10 and would be nice to be able to control it remotely (with the Windy31) and also have a usb memory stick attached at the same time. Just a thought.

Thanks again in advance

Or have the Windy connected AND have the external camera! I think you make a great point and hopefully in the future, Leica scanner models may go to a dual port.

You can "split" the USB port with a "Belkin" USB hub to connect the external camera kit [Cannon] and the Windy wi-fi. I haven't used it extensively but I have done it.

I have used a small 4 port splitter by Lindy It had a little fold out usb slot, It was suppled by Leica so It may work. I have never used the windy with it.
