Looking for "all-in-one" software
Hi guys,
Could some one help me to choose the best "all-in-one" software to do the following tasks with. zfs scans :
- Registration (including automatic detection of targets)
- Coloring the point cloud with panoramic images taken from external camera
- Modeling and some automatic vertorisation
I was using Leica Cyclone 9 but it is not possible anymore.
Thanks.

Another victim of Leica GeoSystems. I put a grenade in that product I sold you, timed. Sorry about that. Can I have another $7000 to fix it? COVID and all has been hard on our bottom line, ya know?...

I read positive reviews about Luposcan and PointCab. The problem about the last one is that it doesn't allow to colour the point cloud.
Any feedback about whom had used them or any other similar software.

You can do registering, coloring and finding the targets in ZF Control except modeling. Also it depends on what sort of modeling you are looking for. If it is Architectural, structural as built, then you can export your data as Recap and use all Autodesk software suits to model.
Usually you need to rely on several different software for modeling and it really depends on what your client expected to receive.

Pointcab and luposcan are awesome. Use them both.
With pointcab you can register all scans with targets. No c2c yet. Scene fls files are colored automatically. No problem there.
Luposcan can register in combo with scantra in c2c. I haven't used the features of targets etc with Luposcan yet as i always import registered data from other packages.

What happened with cyclone 9? Why can you simply not upgrade the license and keep on using it?

Take a look at Terrasolid. Whilst it’s the market leader for airborne and mobile, it does work on TLS data and can detect targets, register and colourise.it also can do some vectorisation.

Lost my lazy $7,000 - due to being enprisoned in my own home and forcefully stopped from moving around my own country, trading with whom I please. Something about our Bill of Rights being stolen. And the fact we had already paid for this item "IN FULL" and then had it taken away by the vendor. And not wanting to give a vendor that engages in such practices $7,000.
I feel it's best not to encourage this type of behaviour. But, hay others might be totally fine with it.

Hi SAOUDI Karim - You do not need to buy new software.
I have found the solution to our, and I'm sure others problem.
Here is the WORKAROUND for EXPORTING from ZF SCOUT and then into LEICA CYCLONE
With the BLOOM, DOME NOISE issue solved
