Did you manage to sort the issue with the Faro team so that the files don't have to be colourized in Scene before importing to CC?

Not yet (but I did received some personalized support from a FARO developer so things are going in the right direction).
In the 2.6.1 version you can now choose if you want to load RGB colors (if you have "applied" them in Scene ) or if you want to load the reflection values as a scalar field (as before).
