Cloud not returning to coordinate system on export
I noticed that after using the SOR tool on a pointcloud and then exporting the cloud, it did not return to its original coordinate system like it does after using the Cloud Subsample tool. Is this intended?

I have noticed this as well. The "Global shift" coordinates are set to 0.00;0.00;0.00, so you have to manually set the shift again before export, after using the SOR tool (Edit > Edit global shift and scale).

Do you speak of the qPCL S.O.R. tool? Then indeed as the clouds are converted to "PCL" (Point Cloud Library) structures and then back to CloudCompare entities, we lose some information.
You'd better stick with the new upgraded S.O.R. algorithm ('Tools > Clean > Noise filter').
