S.O.R Tool

Post by Dedken »

Daniel, any chance of a quick guide to using this tool?

I understand the standard deviation but I'm not entirely sure how the tool is using the figure in the other box. What does it do exactly in order to calculate which points to remove?

Hi,

Instead of the SOR tool documentation, I've updated a few days ago the 'Noise filter' one:
http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/in ... ise_filter

It's an upgraded version of the SOR filter.

Tell me if it's not clear enough or if you need more information.

Ah, that looks good - I didn't know about that. I'm a fairly new user of CC and am just playing around with things - looks like it has tonnes of useful features for me to get my head around. Cheers! :)
