Hello,
I have a pointcloud where I need to accurately depict what would be seen from a camera location in the cloud. I essentially need to place the viewpoint in the camera lens.
I tried using the "save viewport" option, but have found it doesn't accurately depict the viewpoint, as I have a reference photo from the camera and the two do not match. Is there another way to go about getting the correct viewpoint? I'm new to CloudCompare, and don't fully know all of it's features in and out.
Thanks!
Accurate Viewport for a camera angle?

Re: Accurate Viewport for a camera angle?
Mind that in addition to the camera center, you also have to set the right orientation and the field of view (see the Camera options dialog).
Another option is to create a real camera sensor (see 'Edit > Sensor > Camera > Create'). You can then use the 'Apply' button in the newly created object properties.
