I'm not working for the mining environment but I often use laser scanning / point cloud for retaining wall and monitoring. I'm a daily 3Dreshaper user and I like this software very helpful and has a lot of good function.
You will be able to create a mesh apply the image and compare your point cloud and create a analyse report.
I didn't try to import C10 data as I'm using cyclone but I'm using 3Dreshaper to import MS50 data.

It is not a free software, but you have a free trial period of 1 month when you download it from here:

One month will be more than enough for your project. With 3DReshaper you can first create very accurate meshes from real 3D point clouds. Then you can also compare the objects to get the deviations between them (as a color map). And finally, it is also possible to compute volumes between meshes.

I am exactly looking for what you said in this post, I installed trail version of 3D reshaper and want to check if that works out and does our analysis. We have a project which includes 3 years of seasonal data and we need to compare them. As of right now, we have 4 seasonal data of a stream and we are trying to compare the volumetric changes. If this works out well, we are planning to buy the educational version of the same. Kindly let me know if there are any tutorials on doing these steps you discussed here, making accurate 3D mesh from season 1 and season 2, and then comparing them to get deviations between them and compute the volume between the meshes. Please let me know. Thank you.

Here is a tutorial showing the creation of a mesh and the computation of different types of volumes:

It does not show exactly the volume you are looking for, so here is how to compute the volume of cut and fill between 2 meshes:
- create the 2 meshes, make sure they have no holes inside (just the outside border)
- select the 2 meshes and launch the function "volume/cubature" fro mthe Surveying Menu
- choose "user defined input" and the Z direction (or a relevant direction for the project)
- choose the unit in which to get hte volume and hit preview
You'll have 2 labels showing the volumes of cut and fill.
