Re: 3D printed room
Makes you wonder how long before we just start printing buildings, car bodies, furniture, closet organizers, railings, sinks and maybe even the toilet!

Re: 3D printed room
I read an article a few months ago about how 3D printers could be the beginning of a new industrial revolution. Instead of carrying spare parts for everything, all you would need would be blueprints and a 3D printer.

Re: 3D printed room
When you think of how much mobile phones have evolved over the past 10-15 years, i cant wait to see what technological advances can be made with these 3D Printers in the same time frame. If its refined enough i can see it being a vital tool for starting life on other planets.

Re: 3D printed room
It's certainly a clever concept and nice to see 3D printing done on a large scale.
If you don't see that there is nothing, then you are kidding yourself.

Re: 3D printed room
Wait till you can print efficiently in multiple materials. Literally being able to print a computer... Or a working engine... I think I read somewhere of guys printing circuit boards right now.
Our local print shop can print out tooth brushes (think hard plastic and rubber grip) - minus the bristles...
