Here is an image imported to 3ds Max via Clouds2Max
Not sure how drop box links work here (doing this on an iPad).
This was a staged crash for educational purposes..

EDIT: Replaced link with image

David, I'm liking your mini tripods for the spheres.

Would you be willing to say how you made these?

Sure, they are just regular Vivitar tripods that I drill through the quick release boot and place a bolt to spin my spheres on to.
Works very well and you have the flexibility to raise them if you need too..

I've been a big fan and promoter of using inexpensive camera tripods ( and the whole variety of other methods available to attach a camera to things ). Since they are all a standard 1/4-20 stud, we supply mounting discs with our spheres that thread right onto whatever tripod (suction cup, flexi, etc) you want to use, then our spheres snap right on magnetically, whichever size you need. Set-up and break down of a job is simple, very fast and easy, making it easy to get great results. A number of police departments are using our spheres for that reason. We also have some mount plates made up with a 5/8-11 if you insist on using a tribach -

Simple, fast, easy, cheap, and very accurate - that works for me!
