Reduce mesh issue
Hi,
In 2020.1 when reducing a mesh, the output box can't be activated? I feel like I'm missing a step? Any ideas?
Thanks,

Re: Reduce mesh issue
Hi,
So, in the previous versions of Cyclone 3DR, one could go for reducing a mesh and un-check the reduced mesh as an output.
In this case, he would not get anything from the command, which made no sense, and could lead to some questions of course!
As a result, for most of the commands, we identified which output was expected and we removed the possibility to un-check it!
I hope this is clear for everyone

Re: Reduce mesh issue
Hi Gilles,
So does that mean it just reduces the input mesh? It just seems a little confusing, since the output mesh box is still there but you can't do anything with it. I personally liked when it would auto output a mesh called mesh_reduced or something like that!
Thanks,

Re: Reduce mesh issue
Hi Gilles,
I'm still struggling with this command, I preview the reduction, click ok, the command processes - but never exits - the dialogue stays up, eventually I'm forced to cancel to leave the command, and the mesh is unaltered.

Re: Reduce mesh issue
Hi, I think I figured it out - it is erroring out on some meshes and I don't notice the little box describing the error in the right corner of the screen. User error.

Re: Reduce mesh issue
Hi,
I'm finding that mesh I create via meshwizard scripts are proving very difficult to reduce. It almost always encounters an error when processing.
