Interesting. They have some decent deals, but I can't find any customer reviews or any trusted website referencing them. If anybody has any experience with 3dscannertech.com please share your experience.
Thanks!!!

I have seen these companies for a while from the Survey side. Singapore and Malaysia mostly. If they don’t accept PayPal and major CCs always and the prices are really low... It would be nice if google and major search engines would blacklist.

Re: Has anyone dealt with 3dscannertech.com?
I also heard that there is an Asian website where a customer from Europe paid 3 scanners and never got anything.
In any case, I find it strange that they can sell all the big brands. This usually doesn't work. In Singapore, for example, FARO is also on site itself. This company is not listed on their reseller pages.
I really cannot imagine being an Artec and Creaform dealer at the same time. You'd never get a contract for.
And an Artec Leo for 15400 dollars would really be the best offer. The scanner costs about 24 to 26 000 dollars list price and also has a delivery time.
That doesn't sound very serious.
If you want to buy something there, you can get the serial number of the device and check with the manufacturer who is the owner of the device. If something is super cheap, you should be careful. A serious dealer has nothing to give away, the margins are not that big.

Re: Has anyone dealt with 3dscannertech.com?
Hi,
I cannot comment for the other manufacturers although I think their answer will likely be similar to mine. As for Creaform, which is advertised on there, we do not have any affiliation or relationship whatsoever with this website.
In theory it is possible this website would have purchased units on Ebay or some other marketplace however I believe that is unlikely. In any case, as someone else posted you should feel free to ask for a serial number and then check with the manufacturer. We flag stolen units, as I imagine others do, so we would be able to tell you whether this seller is likely to have this unit or not. In this case I'm fairly confident this person does not have Creaform units; I have never heard of them before and have been involved in our activities in Singapore for 10 years. Seems unlikely our paths would not have crossed at some point in time.
Finally, most of these devises are made in North America or Western Europe; it would be strange for those to be available at a significantly lower price halfway around the world in Asia.
Cheers,
Patrice

Gear as ewpensive as this should only bought straight at the manufactorers dealership, not through some seperate vendor who also sells other stuff.
Everything above 5k is a no go for me at vendors.
